After the TV interview up in Cartersville, Arvel, our publicist Wendy Dunham and I made a mad dash to downtown Atlanta where Arvel was scheduled for an interview at NPR member station, WABE, 90.1. Check back near the end of this month for the broadcast schedule of this interview. It will be aired sometime during the week prior to and in conjunction with the amazing Chipa Wolfe's Atlanta Indian Art Market on November 30, December 1st and December 2nd.
Bill Miller and Arvel will provide entertainment for the weekend. Although Arvel will be in Toronto at the Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards where he is performing Friday, November 30th, he will be back in Atlanta in time to share entertainment duties the rest of the weekend. Gee, that kinda sounds like the Nammy / New Jersey weekend! Chehaw - Albany, GA Arvel will be performing twice on Saturday, November 17th at Chehaw Native American Cultural Festival in Albany, GA at their annual pow wow. The festival runs Friday through Sunday and your only chance to see Arvel there will be on Saturday just before the noon Grand Entry and during dinner break.
Make it a family weekend at Chehaw. It's a wildlife park, a festival ground and a campground.
