Mega Muscle Productions, leader in Men's Fitness Videos partners with 680 Digital.
Mega Muscle Productions was created in September 2003 and has exploded onto the fitness scene. They produce workout videos and other products featuring the world's top fitness models. In addition to their work in video, Mega Muscle produces photo shoots with some of the top fitness, physique and fashion photographers in the world. These fitness videos have only been available on DVD but are now released via streaming or downloadable videos on a pay per view basis though 680 Digital.
680Digital.tv, is the online media store developed by Indie Artists Alliance and CDDVD Now and provides an online media distribution platform that enables content owners to sell digital audio and video from their own online stores in a format that uses Digital Rights Management (DRM) technology to prevent digital piracy.
Mega Muscle Productions made the decision to partner with 680 digital to meet the needs of their clinetele to provide "on demand" versions of their highly popular men's workout videos.
"We are very excited to be a part of 680 Digital's on-demand streaming system as this allows the public worldide to purchase these high quality videos" said Brian Rusch founder of Mega Muscle Productions, "Now, because of this cutting edge technology, anyone can get very reasonably-priced access to our videos by exceptionally high quality and low-cost downloads."
Using http://www.680digital.tv/, Mega Muscle Productions is able to create "media rules" they can assign to their videos. The media rules determine exactly how the media can be used. For example, there could be a media rule that allows only a single play, and another rule for ten plays, and yet another rule for unlimited plays. The rules can disable or limit not only the number of plays, but when the file can be played, whether the file can be copied, backed up, shared, or transferred to an approved device, and much more.
Upon uploading the media to the online store, the file is packaged with DRM, and Mega Muscle Productions is able to assign any combination of rules with any prices they desire to that media file. In addition, Mega Muscle Fitness could attach an additional file, such as a training manual or presentation that can also be delivered when someone orders the media.
The beauty of the 680digital.tv system is that in order to play the file, a user must purchase a license - even if the file was provided by an individual with a valid license. If someone who has not purchased a license attempts to play the file, they are redirected back to the online store where they can purchase that specific piece of media.
"We are extremely happy that leading organizations such as Lifevine Media, The Malt Project, Autism Movement Therapy and now, Mega Muscle Fitness, recognize the value of our media distribution platform," says Phil Peretz, 680 Digital.tv Founder and President.
"In addition to eliminating the costs of duplication, artwork, shipping & returns, 680 Digital provides several built-in self-promotion tools and enables our clients to significantly expand their market share, especially internationally, with the ability to offer immediate availability of the media and multiple purchase options," Peretz added.
