FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Indie Artists Alliance is looking for artists to showcase on their upcoming Songwriters and Storytellers CD - Vol.2

Indie Artists Alliance is looking for songs that use lyrics to tell a story from beginning to end with a focus on both the content and the music. Since traditional storytelling relies on the recipient's personal experience and imagination, it tends to be stronger in impact. These songs will paint a picture for the listener and evoke thought and emotion.

This compilation contest is open to all genres as long as it's easy to follow along with the lyrics. Artists can sign up through SonicBids or through the Indie Artists Alliance website. http://www.indieartistsalliance.com/ss2.htm

Indie Artists Alliance will be uploading all content to the iMuzic.com (http://www.imuzic.com) where fans can listen and vote for their favorite music. Songs will be available for $0.89 per track with IAA paying musicians a 70% split of the revenue allowing them to recoup their entry fee.

Additionally, Indie Artists Alliance will provide links to the artists so they can point their fans to the streaming player so fans can vote for songs.

Winners will be determined by their overall ranking on the iMuzic site and the Indie Artists Alliance panel of judges which includes staff members, San Francisco/Oakland local musicians and the iMuzic street team members

Indie Artists Alliance will be manufacturing and distributing 1,000 physical CDs going to Indie Radio Stations, Music Supervisors, Event Planners and Venue Promoters.

Prizes will include the production of 1000 Retail Ready CDs, several short run CD production packages, promotion on Create411.com, Indie Artists Alliance website, http://www.iMuzic.com website and cash prizes.
